Paititi- The Hidden Golden Horde (#01)

 Well, let me kick off by saying that I really love this Indiana Jones kind of stuff. I mean who wouldn't like it, right? Booby traps, secret islands, government secrets all leading up to one thing; hidden riches beyond imagination. Well most of us wouldn't leave the chance to do this, right? What if I told you that such places really exist. Yeah, I bet most of us would have heard about the seven cities of gold. Paititi is one of those cities.

But unlike others, there's actual archaeological evidence to it's existence. This golden horde was established by the Incas running away from the betrayal of Francisco Pizarro. Well the Incas are world renowned for their golden riches.

When Pizarro attacked the Incas in the 16th century he promised the Inca King Atahualpala that he'll leave his kingdom if he filled a room with gold and silver. Atahualpala did just this but Pizarro killed him. The Incas on hearing this ran away.

They ran away and established the legendary City of paititi in the Andes mountains. The Spanish army couldn't keep up and returned empty handed.

Well the city still lays out there; waiting to be discovered. Several archaeological expeditions have taken place to find it. Every time they find something new but still haven't found the city.

I personally feel that this city is still out there somewhere in the Amazon still waiting to be found. I definitely believe that it's discovery won't only lead to finding of Inca history, treasure but also great knowledge(Inca knowledge of metal working).

What do you think- Is paititi real or just a hoax to distract the Spanish? If it's real where is it and if it's a hoax where's all the treasure that the Incas took away!?

 Ok let me start of with a question as usual:- "Who created the first battery?"
