The First Electric Battery

Image
Ok let me start of with a question as usual:- "Who created the first battery?" Well most of you would've been like of course it was Alessandro Volta in the 18th century as that's what we've been taught in school, right? Well even if you google who created the first battery that's what comes up... but what if I say otherwise. What if I say Volta didn't invent the battery but he just rediscovered something that existed around 800 BCE. Yes, that's right battery existed that long ago. How do I know? Well there's an ancient Indian text by the name of Agastya Samhita which mentions the way to make a battery or a battery like device. A graphic rendition of Baghdad Battery Agastya Samhita is a Hindu scripture that dates back to around 800 BC. It contains various sections on astronomy, astrology, and medicine, but one section that stands out is the description of a device called the 'Baghdad Battery.' This device consists of a clay jar, copper c...

Vault B- The mystery hiding great knowledge and billions(#03)

Although I have already asked a similar question in my first post but I'll ask it again. Who doesn't like Indiana Jones kind of stuff Bobby traps, hidden doors and riches beyond imagination. Usually we think we find treasure in hidden or lost cities or maybe old castles, ruins or by the banks of rivers but yeah you get the idea.  Although there is a chance of these ruins having hidden treasures there's no guarantee and it takes a lot of hardwork to find it. Well what if I told you there's actually a sure shot way of getting treasures. Well it's deadly to try and get it but it's a sure shot way. Looking for it in ancient Hindu temples or more precisely under the temple.  Yeah, these temples were places where kings hid their treasures but also while their construction the floor of the temples main chamber was filled with treasure. There is a scientific reason to it as well. As per J J THOMPSON(if I'm not wrong) certain metals like gold attract positive particl...

Illuminati(#02)

Well let's be honest, you would've definitely come across the words " Illuminati Confirmed" atleast once in your life. And if you've ever come across these words you must've wondered what are illuminati. With the information and conspiracy theories available about them on the internet the question "Do illuminati really control the world?" must've definitely crossed your mind. Well let's try and find out the actual answer to this question. But first for those of you who don't know what the illuminati are let me tell you what a quick Google search shows- Illuminati refers to Bavarian Illuminati an enlightenment era secret society found in 1776. But here's the fun part... This society dissolved in 1785. Why you ask... Well the reason was the ban put on secret societies by the Bavarian Monarchy. With this the talks about the society and it's popularity kind of fizzled out. So how did they became the Illuminati which we talk about tod...

Paititi- The Hidden Golden Horde (#01)

Well, let me kick off by saying that I really love this Indiana Jones kind of stuff. I mean who wouldn't like it, right? Booby traps, secret islands, government secrets all leading up to one thing; hidden riches beyond imagination. Well most of us wouldn't leave the chance to do this, right? What if I told you that such places really exist. Yeah, I bet most of us would have heard about the seven cities of gold. Paititi is one of those cities. But unlike others, there's actual archaeological evidence to it's existence. This golden horde was established by the Incas running away from the betrayal of Francisco Pizarro. Well the Incas are world renowned for their golden riches. When Pizarro attacked the Incas in the 16th century he promised the Inca King Atahualpala that he'll leave his kingdom if he filled a room with gold and silver. Atahualpala did just this but Pizarro killed him. The Incas on hearing this ran away. They ran away and established the legendary Cit...
